The questions people ask before their first night. Anything else? Just call.

How does the buy-in actually work?
$20 per player, per week. We split it at the door: $15 goes into that week's pot (paid out to top teams that night), and $5 goes into the season jackpot (paid out at Finals Night). 100% of the buy-in goes back to players. The house takes nothing from the pot.

When do I get paid if I win?
Weekly winners get paid the same night, after the round wraps. Cash or Venmo, your call. Season jackpot pays out at Finals Night to the top three teams in the standings.

Do I have to play the progressive jackpots?
Nope. The Rolling Skin, Ace Fund, and Birdie Streak Pot are 100% optional. You can join the league for the $20 weekly pot only and skip every progressive game. Most regulars throw in for at least one โ€” the buy-ins are small and the payouts can stack into real money when pots roll.

How does scoring work with handicaps?
Best-ball scramble format. Every team member tees off, then the team picks the best shot and everyone hits from there. We apply a team handicap adjustment so a 25-handicap team isn't getting steamrolled by a 5-handicap team. Net score (gross minus handicap) determines who wins the pot.

What if I miss a week?
No problem. Best-four-of-six scoring for the season pot โ€” you can miss two weeks without it affecting your final standing. You don't pay buy-ins for weeks you don't play.

Do I need a team or can I sign up solo?
Sign up however you want. Bring a full team, bring a buddy, or come solo โ€” we'll pair you up. Some of the most dedicated regulars started as walk-ins.

Is this legal?
Skill-based competitions where 100% of buy-ins are returned to players (no house cut, no rake) are widely held to be legal in Texas. We're not a casino โ€” we're a golf league with cash prizes funded entirely by the participants. Same legal structure as any other amateur tournament with prize money. (We recommend confirming this language with your own attorney before publishing.)

What are the requirements to join?
21 or older for any side-bet participation. League itself is open to all skill levels โ€” beginners to scratch golfers. Bring your own clubs or borrow ours. The handicap system levels the field.
